| The periwinkle Room |
The Periwinkle Room, is little and very cute. It fits only a single bed. This is great space for a child traveling with parents. It is right by The Foxglove Room, and also right across from the bathroom. This might be my favorite room in the house, it is so full of character, cuteness, and charm.

The Periwinkle Room boasts, a single bed, a cute little rustic desk and chair and a dresser. In addition, to these core furnishing I also keep a small children's library, board games, other sorts of indoor games such as jacks, pick up sticks, and various card games, paper crayons, and colored pencils, in the Periwinkle room for children to enjoy on rainy days. When I was young we went on a couple of truly wretched vacations.... Once to Cape Cod, to have our whole trip rained out in some icky rental house as far from the beach as could be found on the Cape, and being too young to drive was truly limiting. Wish that house had had books and games I could have played with. The other reason I keep books and games and art supplies is for parents who don't want to listen to whining when it rains out an outdoor trip for their kids here in the country. So, keeping all these fun children's activities is also a special way we take care of our adult guests.

The Periwinkle Room, is great for any three people traveling together but is especially designed with children in mind. There is a thing or two for every age group. But in addition to all this, there is a beautiful view.

| View From The Perinkle Room |
Beautiful views of a very snowy forest. I must apologize for the quality of these photos. The light wasn't co-operating as these pictures were taken when the sky was extremely over cast and dark grey, during winter storm Juno, which hit and dropped some 28 inches of snow on us. This room usually looks somewhat brighter. I am so glad I am getting to share our available rooms though. Thank you for checking this one out and I hope you are well and recovering from the blizzard.
